Topics We Can Work On Together

Every client's needs, life story and goals are different. Across the areas below, I build a work process tailored to the individual.

Anxiety & Worry

Intense anxiety, constant worry, difficulty tolerating uncertainty, the ongoing generation of negative scenarios and the impact of anxiety on everyday life.

Depression & Mood Difficulties

Loss of drive and motivation, low mood, loneliness, hopelessness, reduced life satisfaction and negative self-evaluations.

Relationships & Romantic Life

Recurring relationship cycles, trust issues, jealousy, fear of abandonment, communication problems, breakups and building healthy boundaries.

Anxious Attachment & Fear of Abandonment

A constant need for reassurance of a partner's love, intense seeking of approval, heightened anxiety in response to distance and difficulty building emotional safety in relationships.

Trauma & Childhood Experiences

How difficult past experiences shape self-image, emotions, behaviours and close relationships in adulthood.

Family & Interpersonal Relationships

Conflicts within the family, difficulty setting boundaries, critical or controlling family dynamics and how past family relationships echo into adult relationships.

Emotion Regulation Difficulties

Difficulty coping with intense emotions, trouble managing anger, anxiety or sadness, and developing more functional ways of coping under stress.

Self-Esteem & Confidence

Feeling inadequate, intense self-criticism, placing excessive weight on others' judgements and developing a more balanced sense of self.

Stress & Burnout

Intense stress from social, academic or professional life, performance pressure, mental fatigue and the erosion of work–life balance.

Migration Psychology & Living Abroad

Difficulties adjusting, loneliness, questions of belonging, cultural adaptation, distance from social support, shifts in identity and daily life, and the stress and anxiety that accompany migration.

My Approach

Looking Beyond the Symptoms

In therapy I focus not only on reducing symptoms, but on understanding the emotional patterns, past experiences, relational styles and recurring thought–behaviour cycles that lie beneath the difficulties a person is facing.

With the understanding that every client's needs, life story and therapy goals are different, I aim to build a work process tailored to the individual. Sessions can be held in Turkish or English.
